The second: A 1998 A4 2.8 V6 with 155,000 miles. Manual transmission, and an asking price of $2200.
As many of you know I am looking into Audi’s, and of course, manual Audi wagons. Not sure about the milage on the Avant though. What are your opinions?

Great car for someone to put the time into fixing the CEL
I’ll just let that sink in for a moment. Unless you don’t want to actually drive your new-to-you car, I would avoid. This smells like a potential money pit. Bring a scanner and a smartphone when you check it out.

Dude, fifteen hundred dollars? I’m terrified of VAG products, but that’s a deal. The parts are worth that alone (plus the seats look to be in great condition).
Scam maybe?

I was way thrown off by the seats, and cosmetically it seems to be a masterpiece, mechanically, who knows because VAG and because 263,000 miles.

But dude, it it went that far, it's probably had everything replaced twice. And the fuel pump at least four times.

Now you’re talking me into the 1999 German wagon with over 250k miles on it. My wallet damns you!
Excellent points though...
